Okay, okay, okay already. I’m sure the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is officially blowing up all of your news feeds and inboxes. It’s true, it is the most anticipated sale of the year. But I’m not going to be posting about it everyday for the entire span of the sale like a lot of people. We get it, it’s that good. I’m here today to give you a little introduction to the sale and then once a week I’ll share a roundup.
What is the #NSale?!
Basically it’s like Christmas in July! Ha! Everyone gets into the habit these days to shop sales after the season is over. Where as with the NSale, Nordstrom actually marks down brand new fall items from some of your favorite designers. (Including Tory Burch, Rebecca Minkoff, Free People, and even Nike.) And yes, a TON of the selections will sell out fast. You can see that last year I scooped up this sweater and this poncho.. Still favorites of mine!
When can I start shopping?
Ultimately this sale is a thank you to Nordstrom’s loyal customers so it works a little differently. The sale is open now for Nordstrom card holders. (Or if you open one.) July 22 is the day that the sale opens to everyone. After this it’s definitely do or die, as most things sells out in seconds. After August 7th Nordstrom will put the prices back up and the NSale is over.
What should I look for?
Obviously as I’ve been saying, the NSale is a great opportunity to stock up on everything for fall. Some things that are sure to sell out are Tory Burch riding boots, Hunter rain boots, Rebecca Minkoff bags, and they’re good loot of designer denim. It’s also a great time to buy exclusive beauty bundles from your favorite brands (like NARS, MAC, and Bobbi Brown!) -that also make great gifts! But tune in over the next couple weeks and I’ll be sharing curated collections of what’s in my shopping cart.
