A Little Red, White, And Blue Outfit Inspiration

4thofjuly_outfit_inspiration_ideas_whattowear_34thofjuly_outfit_inspiration_ideas_whattowear4thofjuly_outfit_inspiration_ideas_whattowear_2Phew, the first week of my Summer Intensive classes have started and boy is it a hectic one. (For those of you not familiar with SCAD, the school offers a 5 week intensive instead of the normal 10 week course.) Keyword “Intensive.” It’s a Wednesday night Thursday morning at 1:27 AM and I’m just now getting to writing this post. My future for the next four weeks isn’t looking so bright. But hey, at least I’m headed to Charleston for the third annual #SBScon this weekend!! But I digress, I thought today I’d take a break until next week with the #LCCSummerEssentials and share a few outfit inspirations for the 4th of July. I’ve already shared my shopping list for the day, but let’s get a little more into it here.

As you can tell, I’m not the most into the color red. For this holiday, and most days overall, I tend to let red be the accessories, or drop the color altogether. I don’t know what it is, but red and I get along like Regina George and the rain, you know how she always thought her boobs could tell her if it was raining while everyone else just stared at her.. (Hey, I’m kind of pun-y at 1:30 AM after a few glasses of wine, maybe I should write blog posts like this every morning?) Sike, tried way to hard on that one! I think it’s time for this brain to get some rest, (time-check: it’s now 2:33 AM.) What are you going to wear this 4th of July and how do you celebrate? Shopbar
