Yes, I am 22 years old and still suffer from acne — pretty badly, actually. I’ve talked about it in past posts like this one or this one, but acne definitely didn’t stop in my teenage years. Sure, I don’t suffer from severe acne anymore, but I often still have popup breakouts. I recently spotted ZAPZYT in my local Walmart and was instantly intrigued. I really gravitated towards these products because of one thing: you don’t have to interrupt your everyday skincare or makeup routine. Now that is my kind of acne treatment!
This is my number one favorite product from ZAPZYT. This spot treatment is proven to reduce the appearance of acne within five hours. My acne has shifted throughout the years, and now I tend to find my problem areas are my chin, around my jawline, and in places I wear heavy makeup. I love that I can apply this onto my problem areas throughout the day or before a big event and not have to rearrange my already established routine.
Another great treatment product is this Pore Treatment Gel. I use this at night specifically after I exfoliate. It balances Salicylic acid with calming aloe and Brazilian botanicals.
One thing I’ve majorly learned as an adult is to make sure to wash my face twice a day. ZAPZYT’s Cleanser helps reduce blocked pores and breakouts, and includes aloe and chamomile to help reduce redness.
All throughout high school I was exfoliating too often and too harshly. This led to my skin breaking out even more! Make sure you are using a scrub that gently exfoliates, like this one. ZAPZYT’s Pore Clearing Scrub removes dead skin cells and lifts away dirt and oil. It contains small micro beads that help remove skin of pore-clogging dead skin cells while still cleaning your skin.
What do you think of this brand? I really think ZAPZYT has helped improve my appearance and skin! Over the years I’ve learned a few things other then which products help prevent acne. First off, if you have bangs (which I do!) make sure to remember to apply a little bit more cleanser to your forehead. Because of all of the oils in your hair, you’ll find that it will cause extra breakouts. Next, don’t pop! I am the worst at this, I literally can’t keep my hands off my face when I spot a zit! I just get so self-conscious. Popping can easily lead to scarring or infection, both of which are no bueno in my book! Lastly, your breakouts can be linked to things like certain foods, stress levels, dirty sheets or pillows, or not getting enough sleep. Just pay attention and treat your skin well, and it will most likely thank you in return!
