blcc-7 Today is my last series of photos I shot in studio a couple weeks back. Well, Isabelle’s all ready for a night out on a town with her dramatic eyes, now doesn’t she need a do to go with it?! For this look I created a simple milk braid but with an unexpected twist, fishtail braids! To start we added some texture to her hair by simply adding a few curls and Aveda’s Brilliant Universal Styling Cream. (Seriously, this stuff is magic.) Next, part your hair down the middle and create two identical fishtail braids. If you don’t know how to fishtail this is a great example. Use small elastic rubber bands to secure the braids. Then, pull the first side to the opposite. Secure with bobby pins and repeat on the other side. Use some hair spray to make them stay in place and you have an edgy twist on a classic hairstyle!
