Beauty | Simple Spring Makeup

beauty_spring_favorites_face_makeup_tutorial_product_roundup_apply_sephoraSpring is here! Kind of. I’ve been having so much fun playing with new makeup, working liquid and cream products back into my routine and going heavier with brighter blushes for a rosy glow. This fresh look is simple and perfect for the daytime or evening. Below I’ve listed all of the products used, in order of application:

Glossier Priming Moisturizer – Swap your moisturizer and primer for this single product. It feels smooth, velvety and hydrating on the skin and creates the perfect canvas for makeup.

Chanel Les Beige Healthy Glow Foundation – I love that I can see my skin through my makeup when I wear this sheer coverage foundation. I look more natural and healthy, just as Chanel promises.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer – Everyone I’ve spoken to says these concealers are too thick. I agree that a little definitely goes a long way but just the right amount (a tiny, tiny bit) provides flawless, even, non-cakey coverage.

Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Dew Baby-Pink Liquid Blush – Am I the only one who loves that post-workout cheek flush? Liquid blush will help you achieve that effect. Right now, this Dandelion shade is my favorite.

Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Shy Beam Matte Highlighter – You know how I said a little goes a long way with the concealer? Well with this product a little goes hardly anywhere. But this is not a bad thing! It’s nice to have a buildable product here and there that won’t look to crazy if you’re going for something subtle.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder – This powder is so fine and well, powdery, that your makeup will still look dewey but not budge.

Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer – An oldie but a goody. A bronzer that’s more ashy than warm (which I personally prefer), doesn’t break me out and smells like a cookie? I will keep buying this product until they stop making it!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in Snapdragon – Becca’s products, particularly the highlighters and blushes, look beautiful on every skin tone. There’s nothing better than makeup that will work for everyone. But a fair warning: this blush is extremely pigmented–a dab’ll do ya!

Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray – Lock in your makeup once more and prolong that glow!

Mac Cosmetics Eye Brows – It’s a given that my brows will always be done but I wanted to include this product because I occasionally use it for drawing on fake freckles. Look closely, you’ll see them.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – Whenever I’m wearing more natural makeup I like to turn up the drama with the lashes. This mascara always gets the job done.Shopbar

I love Too Face’s Better Than Sex Mascara, it seriously works miracles on my eyelashes! I’ve been dying to try a new blush lately so I’ll definitely have to check out the Benefit blush on my next trip to Sephora.
