Sometimes, photos and outfits get lost in the cracks. I shot this outfit at the same time as this one and this one but yet completely forgot to post it. Whoops! Anyway, it’s about time I get back to the LCC. Something in my life has been missing lately, obviously it is interacting with you all every week! Here’s to saying goodbye to summer with a bright pink kimono and laceup sandals!
Y’all, this post has been a long time coming. Before I get into it, I want to start by saying thank you all for sticking through anything and everything I’ve been through during these past several years. First Lt Grey Creative, and now this. Don’t worry, Lt Grey is still my full-time job. I just couldn’t leave fashion totally behind!
If you’re new around here you might not know that I studied Fashion Marketing & Merchandising at SCAD. I loved it so much. But when I graduated, I couldn’t find a position that combined enough of my passions or talents into one… So I created Lt Grey, a full-service advertising agency founded in my hometown of Ocean City, Maryland.
Now that Lt Grey is almost a year old, I’ve had a revolution of sorts. If I was doing so much for other small retailers, (who I love, don’t worry!), why couldn’t I do this? What’s stopping us? Ultimately we had the advantage of a built-in marketing team, a professional photographer and videographer, and my fashion marketing background. Um, hello?!
Magnolia Rifle is collected and curated for the bohemian woman with a classic flair. She’s ahead on the trends, but savors the timeless staples in her wardrobe. Stumbling her way to the next milestone, she’s currently searching for her next creative project. She finds inspiration in the everyday, excitement in simplicity, and opportunity in adventure.
I’m excited to be scouring every inch of the internet and country to bring you an eclectic mix of clothing, jewelry, accessories, homegoods and gifts. I’m even in New York City right now attending NY NOW!
We will be launching August 28th! The excitement and panic is real right about now. I can’t wait though to see how everyone reacts to my vision. Sometimes that’s the best part! And to answer everyone’s first question, the LCC is not going anywhere. I may be sticking with 2-3 posts a week, but overall this blog is here to stay.
At the end of the day, do I need more to do and more on my plate? Probably not. But this makes me incredibly happy, so for now I am going to give it my all.
Who doesn’t love trying new beauty products?! Since you all loved the first post in this new series, I’m excited to carry on the new tradition. Today’s Beauty Encounters features a primer, smoothing eye concentrate, dry shampoo, and my new favorite lip/cheek balm. Have you heard of any of these products? Let’s see what I thought in this beauty review!
Alright, folks. It’s been a minute. How have all of you been? I feel like I forget to ask all of my besties how their weekend was when I don’t post here on the blog. It’s been a crazy past two weeks, but all because of a really exciting venture that I can’t wait to share with you all! Check back on Friday to hear all about it. Until then, have you ever seen something more gram-able than a blooming flower field? These photos give me all of the feels! Summer perfection.
