Nike Air Max Thea, Nike Flyknit, & Nike Roshe Review

Have you been wondering about Nike's best styles? I'm breaking down my overall thoughts, sizing tips, etc. about the Nike Air Max Thea, Nike Flyknit, & Nike Roshe.

Since our latest review post went over so well I thought I’d bring it back and talk about my sneaker obsession. I clearly have a thing for Nike’s… and black Nike’s at that.

I’m quite a fan of atheleisure these days. Could you tell? (Exhibit A + BEven if I’m not on my way to the gym, I will most likely be found in sneaks on a regular day. Thank God they’re actually in style these days. By the way, if you were wondering the next on my list are a pair of Adidas’ and maybe these just for fun. Now that I have three different black pairs I thought I’d compare and contrast. Nike has so many different options when it comes to styles, but I went with the Air Max Theas, Flyknits, and Roshe. Let’s break it down and chat about what I like, don’t like, and if I’d buy again…

Nike Air Max Thea Review

Overall:

They’re so stylish! I definitely turn to this pair the most when it comes to athleisure. They’re sleek, versatile, and look great with jeans.

Sizing:

These run extremely small. This is my biggest review of the Nike Air Max Thea. Not only are they small, but they are narrow as well. I even went up a size and they are still extremely snug. The tops are really tight on my feet, so I can only wear them for about 4 hours tops. In all honesty I should have gone up two sizes. Clearly I have lots of ragrats. (You must read it rag-grets. K?)

Would I Buy Again?

Yes, but two sizes up. (You can find them at Nordstrom, or in more sizes here.) I like that they run in a lot of colors. This grey pair and this all black pair are super cool too.

Nike Flyknit Review

Overall:

These are my go-to gym shoes. They’re insanely comfortable, great to workout in, as well as go with everything.

Sizing:

All of the flyknits that I’ve had run extremely true to size. This is actually the second pair I’ve owned!

Would I Buy Again?

Yes, yes, and yes! I think I’m going to go for a fun and colorful pair next, like these purple ones or this pair that is fully customizable.

Nike Roshe Review (Not Pictured)

Overall:

If you’re having a hard time picturing what the Nike Roshe look like, here’s the gorgeous Grace in her customized pair. This was actually the first pair that I bought for myself. I liked the cool, trendy vibe and needed a new pair of sneakers at the time.

These aren’t pictured for a reason. They are, by far, my least favorite out of the three. In fact they are no longer wearable because my big toe went through the fabric and busted a large hole. They look cool, but don’t plan a whole lot of physical activity in them or you will put a hole in them like I did.

Sizing:

They feel true to size, but will stretch out easily.

Would I Buy Again?

I don’t think so. Unless a color combination comes out that I absolutely have to have, I think I will stick with Nike’s other styles.

Did you feel the Air Max Thea’s stretch out or did they feel too tight even after multiple wears?

They stretch a little – but not much. I still wear mine often, but they are still pretty tight.

I have heard that the air-pocket in the Nike air max Thea will change color or even break after some time. Is that something you have experienced?

To me they’re like a cool alternative to Roshe, esp. when Roshe were everywhere you look, but there is also Asics model looking rly similar to Max Thea. 7/10 imho
