Spring Cleaning Housewarming or Hostess Gift

This post was sponsored by Mrs. Meyer’s via Socialstars™. All opinions expressed are my own. Thank you for always supporting the brands that help keep the LCC running!

Do you ever show up empty handed to a housewarming party and just feel completely horrible about it? Or what about to a farm to table dinner where you had no clue all of your friends were going to bring hostess gifts? If you’re thinking, “This is so me!” keep reading, this post is for you.

Spring and Summer are definitely the busiest seasons for our friends and families who are moving into new homes. Not to mention, these months are crazy for us with work, a vacation here and there, as well as trying to uphold a social life! Do you know that feeling? This housewarming gift idea is so practical and easy to prepare! It’s perfect for Spring cleaning!

I was in a jam for a situation like this, and ended up raiding all of the closets in our house until I found something that would work as a gift. (Procrastinators unite!) Just by keeping a supply of the little things you can be ready whenever you need it! It’s an added bonus that the person will actually use the gift they’re receiving. Just add a little note or card and you’re all set! If you’re looking to go all out, throw in a gift card to their favorite restaurant or grocery store. Bet you they won’t be expecting that!

I have to always keep Mrs. Meyer’s products stocked in our home. No joke, this is Harrison’s favorite brand too! For this basket I included two of my favorite products from Mrs. Meyer’s. These special edition scents are super fresh and floral. Just how I think of Spring smelling!  Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Peony Hand Soap contains aloe vera gel, olive oil and a unique blend of natural essential oils to create a hard-working, non-drying, yet softening cleaner for busy hands. Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Lilac Dish Soap is rich, thick and makes grease disappear like nobody’s business. This concentrated lemon dish soap formula for hand-washing dishes includes Soap Bark Extract, another ingredient from the garden that is one of nature’s best degreasers.

It was incredible to find a product that is biodegradable, made with essential oils and plant-derived ingredients, not tested on animals, and manufactured in the U.S. I will forever be buying their products!

P.S. – Did you read our tips to clean practically anything? I can totally see some of these helping you or your friend during your Spring cleaning!

Love this gift idea! The soap will definitely be put to good use, the succulent is so cute, and you can never go wrong with a cookbook! I always figure to get cookbooks that are pleasing to the eye so if they don’t use it, they can always have it out!
